Do you experience reduced mobility or your movements have become increasingly difficult? This may be caused by the illness, previous accident or ageing process, but also by the insufficient physical activity.

A physiotherapist may help you to reduce these problems by advising how to move responsible and providing tips for regular exercises. He/ she can treat your problem areas and guide you through the process of recovery. Also you can receive an advice how to prevent certain problems or, if applicable in your situation, an advice about walking aids and prostheses and how to use them.

  • Cerebrovascular accident/ insult (stroke)
  • Parkinson disease
  • Post-operational or post-traumatic complaints
  • Respiratory problems
  • Sport injuries, pain or swellings

Prevention indications include:

  • Fall prevention
  • Fitness for 55+
  • Exercises for elderly people
  • Learning to walk with walking aids/ prostheses
The procedure

The procedure

Your therapist will guide you through your training and exercises in order to regain your strength and condition. You will also be advised how to prevent possible problems during and after the treatment.
